The North American Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD) honored its award recipients on April 9th during the association's 2019 Annual Convention, held in New Orleans, LA, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The industry’s highest achievement, the awards recognize the most fashionable, forward-thinking, and innovative commercial apparel designs.
Twin Hill is proud to have been awarded the Image of the Year Award® (IOY), in the category of Service & Industry Companies for innovative and employee focused designs in the Huntington Bank 2018 uniform refresh collection. Since 2010, Twin Hill has been partnering with Huntington Bank to provide a career apparel program that is fashionable, functional, professional, and of the highest quality.
Twin Hill partners with Huntington in listening to the voices of their colleagues and aligning those ideas with the Huntington brand philosophy to provide annual refresh offerings to the career apparel program. In 2018, based on wearer feedback, we updated and refreshed the current garment selections through additional fits, colors, and easy to care for fabrics to provide brand consistency among wearers and trendy professional attire to align with the Huntington brand. The design needed to be functional and low maintenance, making it easy for the Huntington colleagues to prepare for his or her workday. Additionally, the garments and accessories within the program were created to be layered, allowing the colleague to adjust to the indoor climate, as needed.
Huntington Bank utilizes their corporate apparel as a strategic brand representation tool to support the colleagues at the retail banking offices to inspire customers to have trust and confidence in the company. Almost every piece within the collection is branded with the iconic, yet simple Huntington honeycomb logo or the Huntington full text logo, as well as the recognizable brand color palette, creating versatility and brand recognition.
Huntington Bank also utilizes line extensions to promote initiatives and its culture. Trendy maternity blouses, expanded ranges of fits and sizes, and philanthropy-focused accessories are examples of items continuously added in the range to enhance the offering for Huntington. In addition, a portion of the Pelotonia branded scarves and tie proceeds go directly to cancer research at Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Centers. In partnership, Twin Hill gives a minimum donation per year to the Huntington Pelotonia fundraising program.
